Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled GoHighLevel (GHL) Platform Expert to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the go-to resource for onboarding new clients, designing and maintaining automation, and ensuring our customers get maximum value from the platform. You will work closely with internal teams and clients alike, translating business goals into GHL workflows while keeping a pulse on the latest platform updates and turning new features into opportunities for our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, managing daily onboarding tasks and ensuring a smooth, consistent experience.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during onboarding, providing responsive and professional support.
  • Partner with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective GHL configurations and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain self-service job aids, SOPs, training guides, and video walk-throughs so clients can support themselves confidently.
  • Build, test, and maintain GHL automations including workflows, pipelines, triggers, and integrations with third-party tools.
  • Audit existing automation setups and proactively recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and work with clients and internal teams to resolve them quickly.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand business objectives and align GHL capabilities to strategic goals.
  • Translate technical platform capabilities into plain-language benefits for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge bases to elevate team-wide GHL expertise.
  • Stay current on all GHL product releases, beta features, and platform announcements.
  • Proactively identify how new GHL features can benefit existing and prospective clients, and present actionable ideas to the team.
  • Champion best practices and continuously evolve internal processes as the platform grows.

Education and Experience

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with GoHighLevel, including sub-account management, workflow automation, funnels, CRM pipelines, and reporting.
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills - you can simplify complex technical concepts for any audience.
  • Experience creating training materials, job aids, or knowledge-base content for end users.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and configure platform solutions that meet defined goals.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment and can manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in a digital marketing agency or SaaS environment using GHL for client management.
  • Familiarity with the full suite of GHL features: SMS/email marketing, reputation management, social planner, memberships, invoicing, and AI features.
  • Experience with Zapier, Make (Integromat), or direct API integrations alongside GHL.
  • Comfortable with basic HTML/CSS for email and funnel customization.
