Introduction

Join a high-impact greenfield initiative focused on application fraud prevention within the Personal Loans domain. This is an exciting opportunity to build scalable backend solutions from the ground up while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering partners. The team is developing a next-generation platform targeted for production launch within the next year.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of professional experience developing applications with Golang.
• Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS services including AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and event streaming technologies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Prior work experience in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years of Golang development experience.
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Scala, or SQL.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with both NoSQL and relational databases.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of distributed microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Architect and build backend services using Golang and AWS technologies.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and system reliability.
• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering technical growth across the team.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Develop and optimize APIs, event-driven systems, and data processing workflows.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of cloud-based applications.
