Locations: San Francisco, CA/ Charlotte, NC (3days hybrid)
Payrate: $70-79.25/hr

Job Overview
- We are looking for an experienced GoLang Backend/API Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs.
- This role requires a strong background in Go development, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications. You will work on building real-time services, data integration layers, and APIs that support enterprise platforms and AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using GoLang.
- Build high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
- Develop scalable, real-time backend services and data integration solutions.
- Design and implement cloud-native applications using containerized environments.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and engineers to deliver scalable backend solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with GoLang (must-have).
- Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable application architecture.
- Experience with Docker and OpenShift (preferred) or Kubernetes.
- Experience working with Linux environments.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BigQuery or BigTable.
- Experience with MongoDB and Redis.
- Experience building APIs that support AI/ML or data-intensive applications.
- Technical leadership or experience leading complex engineering projects.
