Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a "Bartender" for the Gold 'N Silver Inn. The Gold 'N Silver is Reno's oldest casual dining restaurant and has been a Reno landmark for over 60 years. The property has gone under a restoration and renovation that includes a neighborhood bar and updated dining room that will be a downtown Reno highlight for the next 60 years.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and standards
- Engage guests and build repeat business through hospitality
- Maintain bar inventory, cleanliness, and preparation levels
- Monitor guest intoxication and intervene as required
- Support servers with beverage orders
- Beverage quality and consistency
- Cost awareness and waste control
- Guest engagement and compliance adherence
- Bar-level food and alcohol safety
- Authority to refuse service according to policy
- Beverage sanitation and safe ice handling
- Glassware cleanliness and storage standards
- Responsible alcohol service and intoxication management
- Prevention of allergen cross-contact in beverages
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience.
- Beverage knowledge and bar service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification (required)
- Responsible Alcohol Service Certification
- Allergen Awareness Training
- Nevada Gaming Registration
