Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a "Prep Cook" for the Gold 'N Silver Inn. The Gold 'N Silver is Reno's oldest casual dining restaurant and has been a Reno landmark for over 60 years. The property has gone under a restoration and renovation that includes a neighborhood bar and updated dining room that will be a downtown Reno highlight for the next 60 years.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Slice and weigh needed food items
• Prepare daily soups
• Able to do weekly ordering
• Rotate stock daily
• Prepare all salad dressings
• Must be able to follow all recipes
• May be required to assist cooks on the line
• May need to assist dishwashers

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of all kitchen equipment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
• Minimum of one year experience working in a food preparation and cooking environment
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (required)
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
