Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Government Proposal Writer to join our dynamic team in Elkridge, MD. In this role, you will play a crucial part in crafting compelling proposals that effectively communicate our capabilities and solutions to government agencies. Responsibilities

• Research and analyze government solicitations to understand requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Develop and write high-quality proposals that align with client needs and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to gather relevant information and insights.
• Edit and proofread proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with submission guidelines.
• Maintain a library of proposal templates and past submissions for future reference.
• Assist in the development of proposal strategies and win themes to enhance competitiveness.
• Participate in proposal reviews and incorporate feedback to improve proposal quality.
• Stay updated on government contracting trends and best practices to inform proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in proposal writing, preferably in the government contracting sector.
• Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent research and analytical skills to interpret complex information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
