Join a growing finance team supporting government contracting operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist with experience managing federal contract invoicing, reconciliations, and accounts receivable processes.
Responsibilities
Prepare and submit invoices for CPFF, T&M, FFP, and other government contract types.
Reconcile billed and unbilled balances and support revenue recognition activities.
Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections efforts.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
Support contract closeouts, final invoicing, and month-end billing activities.
Partner with project managers, contracts, and accounting teams to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
3+ years of government contract billing experience.
Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, WAWF and Cognos
Strong understanding of federal contract billing requirements.
Experience with accounts receivable, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
Preferred
Experience with contract closeouts and indirect rate adjustments.
Familiarity with government invoicing portals and FAR regulations.
