Position Description:The Contractor will support USAID's FOIA program by processing and analyzing complex FOIA requests, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. This role involves research, application of FOIA exemptions, preparation of materials for release, and liaison with requesters and internal stakeholders. The Contractor will be responsible for accurate case tracking, reporting, and maintaining the integrity of FOIA records.
Objectives
Efficiently manage the lifecycle of FOIA requests, from intake through closure, ensuring compliance with timelines, exemption standards, and quality requirements. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on FOIA procedures and requirements.
Location: Washington D.C.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Remote
Starting Salary Range: $132,368 - $167,538.16 a year with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and education, in addition to budget availability.
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Facility Access Clearance
Core Working Hours: 1000-1500 EST
