The Profile We're Looking ForThis is not a traditional corporate or Management Company Controller position.
The strongest candidates will have direct experience accounting for
General Partner entities, including the partnership structures through which owners, partners and employees participate in the economics of an alternative investment firm.
Candidates currently serving as an
Assistant Controller, Director, Senior Manager or VP who already own substantial portions of the GP accounting process and are looking for their first Controller opportunity are particularly attractive.
Experience at a mega-fund is not required. Candidates from smaller or midsized alternative investment managers who have broader ownership of GP accounting, allocations and partnership structures are strongly encouraged to apply.
Why This OpportunityThis role provides the opportunity to take ownership of a sophisticated GP accounting function within one of the market's largest alternative investment platforms.
The GP Controller will gain direct exposure to the economics and ownership structure of the firm, work closely with senior leadership, oversee highly complex partnership structures and play an important role in strengthening the infrastructure supporting the firm's continued growth.
For an ambitious GP accounting professional looking to move from
Assistant Controller/Director into a true Controller seat, this represents a significant opportunity to expand both scope and senior-level exposure.
