Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) is looking for a GPO Implementation Specialist (Corporate Supply Chain) to work under the direction of the Vice President Supply Chain Operations and Implementation to provide a hands-on, analytical professional support dedicated to delivering a seamless onboarding experience for new member partnerships transitioning to the HealthTrust GPO through CHC Supply Trust. Serving as the central point of contact for all new implementation projects, this role owns the execution of the implementation workplan from start to finish—ensuring accurate, timely completion and a best-in-class customer experience.

This role thrives on cross-functional collaboration, bridging the gap between internal teams (Sales, Account Management, and Analytics) and vital external partners (HealthTrust, members, distributors, wholesalers, and suppliers). Beyond project management, you will be responsible for cultivating strong business relationships and ensuring all partners receive a level of service so outstanding they actively promote and recommend CHC Supply Trust.
Major Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Implementation
- Execute Implementation Work Plans: Coordinate the successful completion of the CHC Supply Trust Implementation Work Plan for assigned new members, including Salesforce account set up and system maintenance, project development, data gathering, and status updates.
- Streamline Work Streams: Coordinate all essential work streams and participants (including medical/surgical, pharmacy, food, and others) to ensure all milestones are achieved per plan.will work closely with various internal teams to enhance customer experience and streamline processes
- Process Improvement: Recommend updates to the Implementation Work Plan to improve the team and member experience; identify and incorporate efficiencies that increase the speed and accuracy of the transition.
- Adapt to Customer Operations: Develop a deep understanding of each customer's supply chain operations and procedures, adapting internal project processes to meet individual customer needs and expectations.
Relationship Management & Communication
- Stakeholder Communication: Track project results and communicate real-time status updates of all new customer implementations to all internal and external stakeholders, including members.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work highly collaboratively with, Contracted Distributors/Wholesalers, Contracted Suppliers, and internal teams (account management, analytics, purchased services, operations).
- Executive Reporting: Communicate regularly with the VP of Supply Chain Operations & Implementation to report progress and proactively troubleshoot obstacles as they arise.
- Internal Resource: Develop and maintain strong relationships across all levels of Company management to serve as a reliable technical resource.
Contract Connection & Lifecycle Support
- Facilitate Connections: Support distribution pricing connection facilitation and savings documentation throughout the implementation process.
- Documentation Procurement: Contact members directly to obtain appropriate paperwork and missing information required to connect agreements.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Healthcare Industry: 4 years of experience in the healthcare industry (specifically within the supply chain).
- Project Management: 2–5 years of project management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Skills and Knowledge
- Project Management: Proven ability to successfully manage and track multiple projects simultaneously within agreed timelines and performance measurements with minimal direction.
- Supply Chain Expertise: Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management systems, procurement, supplies distribution/operations, contracting, capital equipment, and automated systems.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present information accurately and effectively to diverse audiences.Must demonstrate executive presence and emotional intelligence, remaining calm and confident in challenging situations.
- Analytical Skills: Intermediate analytical capabilities, specifically utilizing MS Excel for data tracking and reporting. Specifically use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP etc.
- Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Agility & Drive: A strong passion for results with the ability to maintain high personal standards in a high-profile, fast-paced team environment. Highly agile and adaptable to changing work demands.
