Job Summary:
We are seeking a GPS/GNSS Software Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, CA, for a 6+ months contract. This role involves enhancing GPS accuracy and developing advanced navigation systems. The successful candidate will work on projects aiming for centimeter to sub-meter GPS accuracy, contributing to lane-level mapping, churn detection automation, and real-time navigation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize processes for GPS data and inertial sensor measurements.
- Achieve high-accuracy GPS data analysis for various applications.
- Collaborate in building detailed lane-level maps and automating churn detection processes.
- Play a key role in the development of real-time, lane-aware navigation systems.
- Apply expertise in Java or C++, and GPS technologies, including RTK/PPP-RTK, in project tasks.
Must-Have Skills:
- Solid programming skills in Java or C++.
- Strong understanding of GPS technology and preferably RTK/PPP-RTK.
- Knowledge of Aided INS systems.
Industry Experience:
- Preferred candidates will have experience in the navigation or mapping industry, with a focus on high-accuracy GPS data analysis
