Grade 1 Teacher Long Term Substitute
Kingston Elementary School in Kingston, Massachusetts is seeking a full time grade 1 teacher long term substitute. This position is anticipated to begin in August 2026 and continue for 3 months.
A successful candidate will:
- possess active licensure in early childhood (pk-2) or elementary (1-6).
- be the lead teacher in a general education classroom and teach all subject areas.
- collaborate with grade level teachers.
- use data to inform instruction.
- communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
- work with students, colleagues and families from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs in an inclusive and culturally-proficient manner.
- support students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally.
- report directly to the building principal.
This role is compensated at $312.00 per day beginning on day 1 of the assignment.
