- Implement the instructional program as identified through the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and District''s curriculum.
- Maintain appropriate classroom environment with relation to discipline and student safety.
- Communicate with parents and/or guardians.
- Work collaboratively with administration and support staff to ensure student success.
- Prepare required reports, including progress reports, report cards, and student success plans.
- Maintain accurate records, including student grades and classroom attendance.
- Participate in team meetings as necessary.
- Maintain high academic standards.
- Pursue professional development as necessary and appropriate to meet "highly qualified" standards.
- Participate in committees and activities as appropriate and in conjunction with contractual agreements.
- Work collaboratively with staff to plan curriculum and instruction.
Compensation will be in accordance with the salary scale outlined in the Acushnet Teachers Association collective bargaining agreement.
