    Description

    Aquinas Catholic Schools has an opening for the 2026-27 school year for a full-time (1.0 fte) 4th Grade Elementary-level teaching position. Practicing Catholic candidates are preferred; preference is given to candidates with a WI License in Regular Education (1777), or if licensed in another state, the ability to obtain this WI licensure.

    Aquinas Catholic Schools System is a Christ-centered family devoted to nurturing students of all faiths through educational excellence in its vibrant Catholic tradition. Our schools provide faith-based education for Preschool 3 through 12th-grade students at our five locations - La Crosse (4) and Onalaska (1). Aquinas Catholic Schools System is nationally accredited through COGNIA and three schools (Blessed Sacrament Elementary - 2017, Aquinas Middle - 2013, and Aquinas High - 2008) are National Blue Ribbon Schools.

    All applicants must meet the following requirements.

    Must be Wisconsin DPI certified with a teaching degree.

    Ability to work well with students of varying abilities and diverse populations within small group and individual settings.

    Ability to differentiate instruction.

    Ability to manage numerous classes at different grade levels.

    Must possess strong technical skills.
