Grade 7 Science Teacher (1-year only)

Greeneview Middle School (Grades 4-7) is searching for a Grade 7 Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a contracted, temporary one-year assignment. Applicants must be licensed and qualified to teach science in the state of Ohio.

Applicants must demonstrate:

• The ability to effectively plan and teach lessons that support and extend the New State Learning Standards and meet the needs of all learners in a self-contained classroom
• The ability to make and carry out long-range instructional and program planning
• An understanding of best practices for quality instruction and student achievement
• The ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate learners with multiple ability levels in the regular classroom and small group settings
• The ability and willingness to work as part of a team of classroom teachers and administrators to plan how to best meet the needs of students
• The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and teachers
• The ability to keep accurate and thorough records
• A record of consistently managing paperwork and handling work assignments in a timely manner
