Grade 8 Math Teacher

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Math 8 Teacher in our Middle School building for a 2026-2027 opening. We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated member of the Middle School team.

• An intevention period where the teacher can plan small group instruction
• Students to have 90 minutes of math per day, max number of students is 75

Ideal candidates will possess New York State certification. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification program. Salary will be calculated based on NYS certification, years of experience, and completion of a Master's Degree.  Base salary increase coming in the fall of 2026 for all school employees.

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is a public charter school, primarily serving students from the city of Rochester.
