GRADES 5-8 SUMMER PROGRAM MONITOR

Job Description

A teacher to monitor student progress on digital coursework over the summer. The teacher will also provide in-person support and assistance 3 days per week for 2 hours per day. Position dependent on student enrollment.

Program Dates: July 6 - August 14, 2026

Rate of Pay: $58.15 per hour up to 7 hours per week funded through Title IA

Requirements:

• NJ Teaching Certificate
• Experience with teaching grades 5-8 preferred

Tasks will include:

• Monitor student progress through online platform both remotely and in-person
• Communicate to parents and administration regarding student progress, participation, and attendance as needed
• Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
• Arrange support with online teachers
