Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
Experience providing direct and consultative services in a school setting, especially with grades K-5
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Commitment to culturally responsive practices and working with diverse student populations
Ability to develop and implement IEPs and maintain proper documentation
Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
Provide direct therapy services to students, adjusting approaches to meet individual needs
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate service records and progress notes
Support and educate school staff on language and speech development strategies
