    Title: Graduate Research Assistant (Regulatory - Clinical Trials Office)

    Location: Honolulu, Kakaako, Oahu

    Salary: Step 17 ($2,627 per month)

    Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time - Full-Time Equivalency: 50%

    Other conditions: Inquiring candidates must be enrolled as a student at the University of Hawaii Manoa campus. An interest in learning about medical research, including clinical trials, is preferred.

    Job Duties:

    • Assist with the Clinical Trials Regulatory team with everyday duties and responsibilities.
    • Updating and maintaining paperwork pertaining to Regulatory information.
    • Assist with processing National Cancer Institute Clinical Trials Network (NCTN), Investigator Initiated Trials (IIT) and industry sponsored trials.
    • Attend Regulatory and Clinical Trials trainings and meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A classified University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate student (new or continuing). Good academic standing (3.0 GPA or above).
    • Competent in general computer programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
    • Able to commit to a regular weekly schedule of 20 hours/week.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience and working knowledge in medical terminology.
