Franklin Pierce University, a proud member of NCAA Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach for Track & Field. The appointment will begin in June 2026.

The Graduate Assistant position is a two-year position, includes tuition remission and a stipend of $333.34 per month worked. Expectation to work 10 hours per week. Housing is not included. Acceptance of the position is contingent upon successful admission into the University’s Graduate School.

Primary Responsibilities: 

The Graduate Assistant will work with Men and Women's Track.  This position is responsible for recruiting, coaching and practice planning, academic monitoring, video breakdown, team travel and other coaching duties or administrative duties as assigned by the head coach.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess previous playing experience
  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • Acceptance into a Franklin Pierce University graduate program (required prior to start) 
  • Strong communication, leadership, detailed-oriented, and organizational skills 
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) 
  • Valid driver's license
