Summary
Student graduate assistants will assist graduate Biomedical Sciences faculty in labs as Teaching Assistants and/or be responsible for offering tutoring sessions for the following courses: Histology, Gross Anatomy, and Human Physiology.
Essential Functions
Assisting students during lab
Assisting the instructor in setting up and cleaning up the lab
Tutoring students outside of the lab
Proctor lab exams
Electronic communication with students and prospective students.
Qualifications/Requirements
BS in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent degree from accredited institutions.
Must have completed graduate-level Human Physiology, Gross Anatomy, and Histology lecture and labs courses with an "A."
Some experience working with the Anatomage table.
Basic knowledge of learning management systems such as Examsoft and Canvas.
Good communication skills, verbal and written.
