Title Graduate Assistant - Clinical Psychology Position Description
The Graduate Assistant (GA) will work 20 hours per week and receive up to 24 credits of tuition and student fee waivers: 9 for fall, 9 for spring and 6 for summer.
Overview:
The Clinical Psychology M.A. program's Departmental Graduate Assistantship is an ongoing position, pending re-approval each year, in which a graduate student is actively involved in various aspects of the program. The aim is to incorporate a student perspective in refining the many procedures we use while enabling a graduate student to learn program development in higher ed with a focus on clinical training. We aim to develop professional administrative and research skills, as well as the GA's capacity to provide supportive interactions with peers and faculty.
Duties:
The following list of our current G.A.'s responsibilities will continue to be the core of this position for the coming academic year. As new initiatives are developed related to (a) recruiting and meeting with potential applicants, (b) continuing to maintain accreditation-related systems, and conducting projects for faculty and staff; other responsibilities may be added as appropriate.
