Position Information

Title Graduate Assistant - Elementary and Early Childhood Education Position Description

The Graduate Assistant (GA) will work 20 hours per week and receive up to 24 credits of tuition and student fee waivers: 9 for fall, 9 for spring and 6 for summer.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Academic & Instructional Support

  • Assist faculty with course preparation, including organizing materials, setting up learning management systems, and preparing instructional resources.

  • Research Support

  • Assist faculty with research projects, including literature reviews, data collection, data entry, and analysis.

  • Administrative Duties

  • Assist with program coordination, events, or student workshops.

  • Student Engagement & Support

  • Support student programs, advising initiatives, or departmental outreach.

Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a graduate program at the institution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
