Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teaching Graduate Assistant for Thai language and cultural courses.

  • Responsible for grading, office hours, and communication with students.

  • Responsible for course management, attendance logs, and emails.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Full-time student in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA) at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.

  • High-level oral and written fluency in English and Thai.

  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree related to education, language teaching, linguistics, or cultural studies.

  • Prior teaching experience in the target language.

  • Familiarity with the Indo-Pacific Languages and Literature Department.
