Job Description
Job Description
Position: Audiologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Audiologist to become a part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process. In this role, you will assess the medical history of Veterans by reviewing their records uploaded to a secure online portal. Following this, you will administer the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. You will also be responsible for completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, which will generate the necessary medical documentation for the VA to assess the Veteran’s eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
  • Review and analyze electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
  • Accurately document examination findings and complete required VA forms.

Note: This position does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices. The determination of disability is made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.

Schedule and Caseload:
  • Part-Time: 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday, with 8 or 10-hour shifts).
  • Average caseload of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Equipment Provided:
  • All necessary tools for documentation, including a computer.
Qualifications:
  • A compassionate Audiologist who is dedicated to serving the Veteran community.
  • Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and assessment data.
  • Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals.
  • A professional and empathetic approach when interacting with Veterans.
  • Must have graduated from an ASHA Accredited School.
  • Current license as an Audiologist is required.
Benefits and Support:
  • Health insurance and 401K benefits available.
  • Training and ongoing support will be provided.
Why Join Us?

Do you find fulfillment in serving and supporting Veterans? Are you seeking a structured role without on-call shifts? Would you appreciate performing focused medical assessments without treatment responsibilities? If so, we encourage you to apply!

By submitting your application, you agree to the transmission of your information to the Employer through the Employer’s data processor.
