The Graduate Electrical Engineer reports to the electrical team leader.ResponsibilitiesWork with a team of engineers and designers to work from architectural plans and base files to assist in the production of quality engineering construction documents in RevitUnder limited supervision of Engineers and Project Engineers, design electrical systems including equipment sizing, energy lighting calculations and circuit diagrams for a variety of project types including high‑rise, multifamily, commercial and technologyPerform calculations such as electrical load analysis, lighting energy use, voltage drop, fault analysis, etc.Provide reviews of submittals and preliminary reviews of requests for informationIndependently conduct preliminary site investigations and construction progress site visitsMaintain working relationships with manufacturers and technical representatives for electrical equipment in support of equipment specifications and design supportParticipate in internal production meetings with Engineers and Project Managers as well as external design meetings with clients or city officials as necessaryParticipate in development of automation and visualization strategiesInform Project Engineers, Team Leaders, and Project Managers of progress on assigned projectsAttend industry events and become involved in the community, creating relationships and contentQualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural EngineeringEngineer in Training (EIT) license obtained within first year in roleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in the field of new building mechanical engineering constructionExperience in RevitPrior experience or knowledge of coding and/or machine learning technologiesApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis.
