Graduate Nurse (GN)
Rate: $31/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Full-Time, Part-Time
Schedule: Flexible
The McGuire Group is looking to add Graduate Nurses (GN) to their nursing team. In this role, you'll provide nursing care and support to residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse while gaining valuable clinical experience in a skilled nursing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide nursing care and services to residents in accordance with individualized care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures as directed and within scope of practice
Monitor resident conditions and accurately document care, observations, and outcomes
Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and designated family members as appropriate
Receive and provide shift reports and conduct resident rounds to ensure quality care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident health and well-being
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure documentation reflects resident status and care provided
Follow facility policies, infection control practices, HIPAA requirements, and safety procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Graduate Nurse currently eligible for licensure in New York State
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
Physical ability to perform frequent activity and lift a minimum of 20 pounds
