Compensation for this position is expected to range between $25.00 and $27.00 per hour, in alignment with what California Baptist University (CBU) reasonably anticipates paying for this role. The final rate may vary depending on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and prevailing market conditions. Position Summary Information
Summary
On behalf of the College of Nursing and the Dean, the Graduate Nursing Program Specialist role provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and student services support for graduate nursing programs. Key responsibilities include academic advising, registration support, student progression monitoring, records management, regulatory compliance, and program data reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide academic advising and enrollment support to graduate nursing students, including course registration, progression planning, concentration changes, and readmission processes.
Maintain accurate and organized student records and program databases in compliance with institutional policies and standards.
Monitor student progression and licensure requirements, including verification of professional credentials and regulatory compliance.
Facilitate effective communication among students, faculty, program directors, and university departments to support program operations.
Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to graduate nursing programs, faculty, and leadership.
Assist with program planning and implementation, including student orientation, onboarding activities, and distribution of program materials.
Develop, maintain, and update academic program resources, including course schedules, curriculum plans, catalogs, and student-facing materials.
Coordinate student access to educational resources and external learning platforms that support academic success and program completion.
Collect, maintain, and analyze program data to support accreditation, regulatory reporting, assessment, grant activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Deliver responsive, professional customer service by addressing inquiries from students, faculty, and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Represent the College of Nursing and the University professionally, supporting its mission, values, and community engagement efforts, including occasional work outside standard business hours as needed.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or a minimum of two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
