The GPN - Graduate Practical Nurse works under the supervision of the Director. The GPN - Graduate Practical Nurse under the direction of the RN and/or Provider. Administers quality patient care according to established standards. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers.The Graduate Practical Nurse position is time limited. A person may remain in the Graduate Practical Nurse position until one of the following occurs: 1) They become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in their designated working state OR 2) They receive a failing score on the nurse licensure exam and are moved to another position in which they qualify.

Essential Technical/Motor Skills
- Fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, answer phone, type. Ability to give injections, administers medications, and change dressings.

Education
- Recent graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing, or military equivalent. - Required

- IV Certification - IV certified upon hire - Required Upon Hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required within 90 Days
- Driver''s License - Valid In State - If operating a motor vehicle for business purposes. - Required Upon Hire

- Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed. - Required
