Position Summary
Walsh University is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed and flexible individual who is enthusiastic about contributing to a private, faithfully Catholic institution of higher learning and serving the common good. The Athletics Division at Walsh University is a member of NCAA Division II that competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Graduate Student Coaching Assistant(s) will assist in the teaching and mentoring of team members relative to sport specific skills, NCAA II rules and regulations, individual and team development concepts as well as life skills education under the supervision of the Head Coach of the specified sport.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Must demonstrate an understanding the Walsh University Statement of Faith and a commitment to support the Mission, Vision, Values and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University in accordance with Ex Corde Ecclesiae and the Catholic intellectual tradition. Must also possess the following:
Education: Bachelors degree is required as well as acceptance/admittance into a Walsh University Graduate Program.
Work Experience: 3+ years' paying experience as a NCAA collegiate athlete/and or coaching experience in the specific sport for which applying. Other significant experience relative to coaching and/or the administration of an intercollegiate athletics program may be considered.
