Summary

Preparation and analysis of otoliths.

Career Readiness Competencies:

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and characterize otolith samples for chemical/structural analysis.
  • Conduct chemical/structural analysis of samples.
  • Process and interpret data collected during analysis.
  • Report Generation.
  • Other related laboratory tasks as assigned by PI.
  • Adapt to new or unfamiliar technologies.
  • Manipulate information, construct ideas, and use technology to achieve strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of R software for graphics.
  • Strong quantitative skills as evident by previous work experience or A-level grades in college Math/Statistics.
  • Previous research laboratory experience.
