Pitt EDGE is the University of Pittsburgh's central hub for digital education, housed within the Office of the Provost. This inaugural Center advances the University's strategic vision for online, hybrid, and continuing education by partnering withPitt's 16 schools to expand access and improve quality for diverse learners. Pitt EDGE supports the full lifecycle of digital learning through services such as instructional design, technology integration, market analysis, academic planning, recruitment, and quality assurance. We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Graduate Student Recruitment Specialist to join the recruitment team. In this role, you will serve as a welcoming first point of contact for prospective graduate students — introducing them to our university, guiding them through the inquiry process, and connecting them with the resources and people they need to take the next step in their academic journey. You will represent the university at recruitment events across our Oakland campus and regional campuses, embodying what it truly means to be part of our community and inspiring others to join it.
Job Summary: Represents the University in new student recruitment and participates in the evaluation of applicants. Participates in recruitment activities and projects, both in and out of state.
Essential Functions:
Physical Effort: Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and work with computing technology. This position involves extensive screen time. When traveling, the position will require the ability to drive, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, and the ability to lift, carry, or transport boxes and/or or briefcases ranging from 20-50 pounds.
