Job Overview
We are currently hiring a Grain & Agronomy Operator for a liquid plant facility in Hastings, NE. This role involves handling grain commodities, blending and loading fertilizers and chemicals, and assisting with general facility operations. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in agriculture or grain operations. No experience is required training will be provided.
Schedule

• 
  Monday Friday: 7: 00 AM 5: 00 PM
  
• 
  Weekends as needed
  
• 
  Hours may vary depending on production needs
  
• 
  Significant overtime available during harvest season
  

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Load and unload grain commodities.
  
• 
  Blend and load dry or liquid fertilizers and agricultural chemicals.
  
• 
  Perform light maintenance and general housekeeping around elevators and facility areas.
  
• 
  Assist with railcar loading at certain facilities when required.
  
• 
  Operate heavy equipment when certified.
  
• 
  Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  
• 
  Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  

Qualifications

• 
  No experience required training provided
  
• 
  Agricultural background or mechanical aptitude is a plus
  
• 
  Ability to work in a dusty environment
  
• 
  Must not have allergies to corn or grain
  
• 
  Ability to work long hours and overtime during harvest season
  

Physical Requirements

• 
  Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds occasionally
  
• 
  Ability to work in a physically demanding agricultural environment
  

Work Gear Requirements

• 
  Employees must wear over-the-ankle boots with at least 50% leather
  
• 
  Steel-toed boots are not required
