Grain Merchandiser

Grain Merchandiser Responsibilities:
· Capitalize on opportunities by making recommendations to management and staff regarding changes in the grain market
· Build relationships within the community and outside customers
· Trade a variety of crops: wheat, flax, canola, durum, corn, pulse crops, etc.
· Provide a summary and distribute information to other stakeholders in the company including accounting and facilities staff
· Monitor future markets on a regular basis
Grain Merchandiser Qualifications:
· 5-10 years of grain merchandising experience required
· Proficient in various software systems
· Strong communication and math skills
· Experience with crops that are typical throughout the region
Grain Merchandiser Compensation:
Competitive salary plus bonus
