Key Responsibilities for the Grant Accountant:



  • Manage grant budgeting- preparing the funder templates, budget modifications

  • Spending Analysis- budget to actuals for each grant on a monthly basis

  • Prepare and submit grant-related financial reports and invoices

  • Monitor budgets, expenditures, and compliance requirements

  • Reconcile grant accounts and support audits

  • Partner with program staff to ensure accurate cost allocation



Qualifications for the Grant Accountant:


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with grant or nonprofit accounting
• Knowledge of government grant compliance and reporting
• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
