Grant Accountant

Location: Fully Remote
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Key Responsibilities for the Grant Accountant:



  • Manage accounting activities for assigned state and federal grants.

  • Review and approve grant-related expenditures and procurement activity.

  • Grant Accountant will perform budgeting, budget-to-actual analysis, and financial reporting.

  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities.

  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and posting issues.


Qualifications for the Grant Accountant:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; Finance degree considered with strong accounting experience.

  • Grant Accounting experience beyond accounts payable-focused responsibilities.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.

  • Experience with full-cycle accounting

  • Abila MIP software experience
