Position Summary
Transform lives by being responsible for ensuring the fiscal and regulatory integrity of the College’s diverse portfolio of local, state, and federal grants. Operating under an internal-control model, facilitate and validate grant purchasing and compliance activities, while final transaction decisions remain with designated College authorities.
Limited-term position with an anticipated end date of October 2027.
This position could be remote with minimal on-campus requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as the primary subject matter expert on the specific terms, conditions, and regulations governing various active grant awards concurrently.
Review award terms and interpret OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) requirements to ensure College alignment across all grant initiatives.
Track all required grant documentation, proactively identify potential compliance issues, and escalate them to appropriate College authorities.
Prepare grant files, processes, and personnel for formal sponsor monitoring visits, desk reviews, or external audits.
Collaborate with the College’s Business Services team, staff, and faculty to execute the College's existing purchasing processes.
Determine and document specific procurement tier requirements applicable to grant-funded purchases based on funding source guidelines.
Coordinate vendor quotes, formal competitive solicitations, and the development of procurement bids including but not limited to quotes, bids, selection justifications, cost/price analyses, and sole-source justifications across all active grants.
Maintain clear communication channels with vendors and document mandatory federal debarment and risk checks.
Assemble procurement files, coordinate contract requirements, and verify all appropriate College leadership approvals occur.
Manage federal and sponsor equipment records, inventory tracking, and all supporting financial and programmatic records.
Act as the vital and cross-functional liaison between individual Program Directors and the Grant Accountant.
Review transactions and grant expenditure activity periodically against approved budgets and compliance requirements to prevent cost overruns.
Support standardized grant closeout processes and ensure required documentation and records are maintained in accordance with applicable requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, public administration, business or related field required. Equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 2-years of experience in grant administration, federal programs, public procurement, compliance, auditing, contract administration, or related field preferred.
Experience in interpreting operational policies or contractual agreements is preferred.
Demonstrated use of technology and Microsoft Office applications required, especially Excel functions.
Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
