    Job Summary

    The Grant Writer & Grant Compliance Administrator is responsible for preparing competitive grant applications, ensuring compliance with federal and state funding requirements, and supporting grant administration activities. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop funding proposals, monitor regulatory compliance, prepare reports, assist with audits, and support grant management throughout the funding lifecycle.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Research, write, and prepare competitive grant applications.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather proposal information.
    • Develop compelling grant narratives, project scopes, objectives, budgets, and implementation plans.
    • Review grant documentation to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
    • Prepare correspondence and reports required by funding agencies.
    • Monitor regulatory updates and communicate compliance changes.
    • Assist with compliance audits and policy reviews.
    • Recommend corrective actions to ensure grant compliance.
    • Support post-award grant administration and reconciliation.
    • Maintain grant funding records and databases.
    • Prepare quarterly grant reports.
    • Assist with funding allocation and transfer processes.
    • Support transportation improvement program documentation and reporting.
    • Perform additional grant administration duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 3 years of grant writing, grant administration, or technical/business writing experience.
    • Knowledge of grant development and administration.
    • Familiarity with federal and state funding regulations.
    • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
