Grants and Budget Manager
Location: Hybrid, Downtown Manhattan
Salary: $125,000 – $135,000

Key Responsibilities for the Grants and Budget Manager:
• Oversee grant accounting, billing, and financial reporting across government and private funding sources
• Manage Medicaid/SCN revenue cycle operations, including claims, denials, and reconciliations
• Review journal entries, allocations, and monthly close processes
• Partner with CFO on financial reporting, projections, and strategic initiatives
• Serve as key liaison with funders, payers, and internal stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional finance projects and process improvements

Qualifications for the Grants and Budget Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 6–8+ years of nonprofit finance or grant accounting experience
• Strong experience with Medicaid/SCN billing and revenue cycle management
• Background working with NYC/NY State funders (DFTA, DYCD, OTDA, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF functions)
• Familiarity with PASSPort, Grants Gateway, and OMB Uniform Guidance (preferred)
