What You'll Need

A bachelor's degree in a business or related field or four years of relevant experience. A strong proficiency in Excel, alongside exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. A high level of accuracy, strict discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to meet multiple and/or concurrent deadlines successfully The ability to work independently while communicating effectively with colleagues. Preferred prior experience managing or coordinating government grants; familiarity with federal cost principles, payroll and indirect cost allocation, and financial management practices; proficiency in financial software

What You'll Do Grant Administration and Management: Support grant management from application through closeout. Key duties include preparing accurate budgets, spending plans, and narratives; reviewing award and funder guidelines for financial requirements; maintaining audit-ready files; and ensuring full compliance with grant terms, CVIC policies, and government regulations.

Financial Reporting and Support: Monitor grant income, expenses, reimbursements, balances, spending, and deadlines while reviewing transactions for accuracy and compliance. Prepare and submit financial reports and reimbursements, support agency budget planning and closeout, and organize records for audits and funder monitoring.

Collaboration and Technical Assistance: Serve as a key resource by providing financial guidance, training, and technical assistance to staff, subrecipients, and partners/ Collaborate with program teams to ensure all grant budgets, reports, and supporting documents are accurate and submitted on time.

Team Support: Provide cross-functional support to the finance and administrative team as needed. Additionally, contribute to the agency by attending staff meetings, serving on committees, and performing other duties as assigned.
