Overall purpose of the role:
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), one of the world's leading NGOs with a focus on responding to displacement, has been working in Myanmar since 2008 and in Bangladesh since 2013. DRC is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with substantial experience leading grants systems and processes, with the objective of strengthening our current and future programmes and strategic partnerships. The Grants Manager (Bangladesh and Myanmar) is responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of grant management, including supporting donor engagement and fundraising efforts, taking the lead in the development of quality proposals, supporting timely and quality programme cycle management in line with donor requirements, and strengthening DRC's commitment to Localization throughout the programme cycle, including support to the development of Partnership Agreements with local organizations. The position reports to the Head of Programme (HoP), directly manages Grants staff, and closely collaborates with Partnerships, MEAL, Technical Programme, and Support Service teams.

Conditions
Contract: DRC will offer the successful applicant a DRC's Regular contract including 3-month probation period. Renewable depends on both funding and performance. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with DRC's Terms of Employment. The position is in Employment Band F-1-management.
