Description

Position: Grants Project Specialist 

Location: Cranston, RI

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Pay: $30-32 per hour 

Description: We are looking for someone who has previous clinical experience in behavioral health (treatment planning, documentation, evidence-based practices, etc.), as they will be conducting clinical reviews and audits of community behavioral health providers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for oversight and compliance of state and federal regulations and standards associated with CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic)
  • Coordinate processes and internal resources across multiple departments to ensure that CCBHC requirements are implemented, and outcomes met
  • Participate in providing collaboration and attending meetings with all those associated with implementation and ongoing monitoring of CCBHC
  • Ensure that BHDDH leadership obtains the information necessary to support the organization’s goals throughout implementation and monitoring of CCBHCs
  • Prepare status reports for the BH Associate Director of special projects and the Director of BHDDH for review.
  • Ensure that all CCBHC program development plans and activities are executed in keeping with funding requirements and in keeping with BHDDH’s values, mission, vision, and strategy for the implementation of CCBHC
  • Evaluate CCBHC effectiveness; identify successful and unsuccessful CCBHC relationships and engage in proactive problem-solving to reduce barriers impacting the successful outcomes in coordination with organizational leaders


Requirements:

  • Master’s degree related to behavioral or public health with 5 years of experience
  • Experience working with state agencies and behavioral health agencies 
  • Knowledge of behavioral health services and resources on a local, state and national level
  • Ability to guide the organization in meeting and exceeding standards
