Job Summary

The Graphic Designer I will take existing control drawings and convert them into graphical images using a pre-configured symbol library with drag-and-drop functionality. This position requires a technical aptitude and ability to learn new software, including the latest building control manufacturers' software (Tridium Niagara, Distech Controls, Delta Controls, JCI FX, Schneider Andover Continuum, etc.). Graphic Designer I will work productively with supervision and be able to work in a team atmosphere.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop graphical screens for the building control industry using Manufacturer Provided Software, Photoshop, SweetHome3D, and other software.

• Keep accurate and organized project notes.

• Good customer support for graphical issues.

• Support internal teams with deployment, startup/checkout, training, etc.

• Help with department documentation pages where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, graphic design or equivalent experience in HVAC design preferred.

• 2+ years' experience in graphical design.

• Knowledge of modern procedures and methods, including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.

• Skill in various software packages, including Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and others.

• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems and computer-related issues.
