Position Information

Job Title
Graphic Designer

Nature of Work

Creates original designs, executes artwork and/or writes feature stories for print publications and the website. Conceptualizes design layout of finished art and text for reproduction and coordinates final production of finished product with printing department. May oversee the bidding and award process for project needs.

Examples of Work Performed
  1. Design and produce prospective student recruitment publications; materials, recruitment postcards, financial aid communications, event invitations, and admitted student materials
  2. Develop and manage a recruitment communications calendar that sequences print and digital touchpoints throughout the full enrollment cycle
  3. Produce targeted direct mail campaigns segmented by prospective student population (first-time freshmen, transfer students, adult learners, dual enrollment and graduate etc.)
  4. Coordinate with vendors, overseeing production, and delivery process to ensure materials are on-brand, on time, and within budget
  5. Manage enrollment-focused social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.), developing and publishing content that highlights campus life, academic programs, student success, and the admissions experience
  6. Design all event collateral, environmental signage, presentation slide decks and promotional materials for Enrollment Management sponsored events
  7. Partner with academic departments to develop program-specific recruitment materials (both print and electronic) that are current, and enrollment-focused
  8. Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in art, commercial art, communications, or related field and at least one year experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or closely related field
  • 3+ years of experience in enrollment marketing, higher education communications, or a recruitment-focused marketing role
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a high-volume recruitment cycle
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media with measurable audience engagement
  • Strong editing skills, with the ability to write persuasively for prospective student audiences
  • Experience with print production workflows including pre-press processes, color modes, and vendor coordination
  • Familiarity with enrollment CRM platforms (e.g., Slate ) and email marketing tools

Salary Information
Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Attractive and comprehensive benefit package. Annual salary range is $48,632-$60,791.
