Grapple Crane Operator/ Yard Loader

Local metal scrap yard seeking action-oriented, reliable and hardworking individuals with 2+ years of yard dog experience. This position is responsible for handling materials with mag crane, grapple crane, wheel loader and skid steer loader. Must be able and willing to work overtime.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes and forklifts in a safe manner.
- Unloading customers as well as feeding the shredder, all within the same area using a grapple crane.
- Loading trucks with shredded steel using a mag crane.
- Unloading trucks and loading railcars with a mag crane.
- Operating a wheel loader and a skid steer loader.
- Ability to follow safety and operations processes and procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience operating cranes in an industrial environment
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled work environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation and steady work history
- Steel-toed boots required
