Position: Installation Technician - Great Big Game Show

Job Description:
The Installation Technician is the go-to person for bringing Great Big Game Show studios to life across the country. About 70% of your work time will be hands-on in the field - installing truss systems, lighting, cables, and game components - and the other 30% you'll spend back at our Smyrna, TN Adventure Factory supporting technical production.
This is a role for someone who loves interactive media, thrives on the road, and takes pride in making sure every detail is dialed in. You'll help ensure every GBGS studio meets our legendary quality standards and gives guests an unforgettable, epic experience.
Installation & Setup (Field Work)
Travel (frequently) to install GBGS studio systems
Build and assemble truss, run cabling, install lighting and AV equipment, set up physical game components
Troubleshoot technical issues on site
Conduct punch walks to ensure top-quality installation and teach teams best practices
Lead or participate in post-installation project debriefs
Project Planning & Prep
Review project documents before each install
Order on-site materials and ensure tools and kits are packed and ready
Prepare install materials, tools, and kits to ensure smooth, successful onsite installations
Coordinate closely with Project Management and Construction teams to align on timelines, deliverables, and needs
Shop & Production Support (Smyrna, TN)
When not traveling, assist with technical production tasks at the Adventure Factory
Help assemble, test, and prepare components and systems for upcoming installs
Continuous Improvement
Track production and installation insights for future process improvements
Maintain and update documentation as products evolve
Pay & Benefits:
Starting Pay: $18-$25/hr (plus bonus)
Regular overtime + travel pay

Schedule & Travel Expectations:
Base location: Smyrna, TN (HQ)
Travel-heavy role:
Office work: ~40-45 hrs/week (Mon-Fri, day shift)
Travel periods: ~70+ hrs/week (variable days/shifts, including nights/weekends), with accrued rest days
