What Youll Do
As a Green Chain Sawmill Laborer, you will be responsible for:
Sorting lumber by grade and length, carefully placing materials into designated slots to build loads efficiently.
Maintaining accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced production setting.
Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely production.
Moving quickly and safely along catwalks while handling lumber to meet safety standards and operational goals.
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Previous sawmill or green chain experience preferred, but training will be provided for motivated individuals.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to perform various tasks as needed.
Good hand-eye coordination, balance, and physical stamina.
