The Greenbush YMCA is seeking dynamic individual to fill the full time role of Aquatics Coordinator. This aquatic position support the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening our community. The Aquatics Coordinator role maintains reliable & organized records for pool usage, with focus on swim lesson scheduling and registration, instructor oversight, private lessons, swim team operations/communication, coaching, and direct instruction.

Work Schedule:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (ALL POSITIONS):

• Minimum age of 18.
• HS Diploma/GED is required.  Some college is preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as a swim instructor and lifeguard.
• Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory role.
• Current CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Current aquatic certifications (YMCA or American Red Cross).
• Basic computer skills, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Basic life support or professional rescuer CPR/AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration (completed within 30 days of hire)
• New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
