Greenhouse Associate

Job description:

Our client is seeking a friendly, hardworking Customer Service Associate to join their busy outdoor nursery team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, being outdoors, and staying active throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with loading purchases into vehicles and trucks
• Safely lift, carry, and load plants, pottery, soil, and other nursery products
• Pick and stage customer orders for pickup and ensure orders are complete and accurate
• Assist customers with locating and transporting larger or heavier items
• Help organize and maintain the outdoor pickup and loading areas
• Water plants and assist with general upkeep of the nursery and sales area
• Provide friendly customer service and assist with questions about products and purchases
• Support the team with general loading, stocking, and outdoor nursery duties as needed

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable and willing to work as part of a team
• Ability to stay active and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to regularly lift up to 30 lbs.
• Previous retail, customer service, nursery, or garden center experience is a plus, but not required
