Greenhouse Production Assistant
Areas of Responsibility: Tier 1
Seeding duties, including operating seeding machine(s).
Transplant seedlings based on quality standards.
Identify and cull plants with pests or disease and report all signs of pest and/or disease to supervisor.
Harvest mature plants as instructed and in accord with production schedule.
Move and rearrange growing equipment as needed.
Assist with the loading and unloading of greenhouse materials.
Compost unused plants as instructed and in accord with production schedule.
Assist with daily cleaning of production areas, equipment, and supplies.
Assist with periodic cleaning of common areas in facility.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Company food safety policies, Company employee's safety policies, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
Proper handwashing and wear required PPE at all times.
Additional duties as assigned.
